Located in the historic downtown of Budapest, close to the Danube on the Pest side of the Elizabeth Bridge, in the courtyard of the former Franciscan monastery, within the business and cultural centre of Budapest.
Kárpátia Restaurant & Brasserie with its magnificent turn-of-the-century decor represents an outstanding dining experience with authentic Hungarian cuisine since it was opened in 1877. Its wine list offers an extensive range of the finest wines from the historical wine regions in Hungary to accompany specialty meals. The interior of the restaurant is decorated by wall-paintings, giving a nice atmosphere. Guests can listen to gypsy live music every evening.
