Brasserie Kaltenberg
As a member of a well-known hosting dynasty, Papp Dénes and his son run the restaurant together.
His grandfather József Papp has been the owner of the Gödör-Halásztanya in Kispest, while his father Endre Papp has been the chief of Mathias Cellar both in Budapest and in Vienna. Even today, Guests will find on their Menu card the dishes that have been made upon old family recipes, for instance the fish soup, the filleted carp meals, or the cold raspberry strudels. They still keep themselves to the family ars poetica the way they have done at the old times: „The content of the Guests is first and foremost”.
