Radisson Blu Hotel
The hotel is located downtown, on the Grand Boulevard which has once been a branch of the Danube.
Due to its central location one can easily reach all monuments, the Heroes’ Square, the Opera, the Academy of Music, the most important touristic attractions, the Danube (the Margaret Island is15 minutes walk from the hotel). The Parliament with the ministries around, and also the big shopping malls and centers are within easy reach. One can use the public transportation system, as there are two underground stations and two tram stations no further than 200 m from the hotel.
The hotel houses a four-story building from the beginning of the XIX. century. Opened in 1914 it served as a hotel and has been modernized several times but still preserves values and traditions. The hotel was completely re-built in 1985 in order to serve guests with modern amenities.
The hotel has 239 rooms and 8 suites on six floors (three of them is non-smoking), all with air-condition, bathroom, telephone, TV with satellite channels, minibar and in-room safe. Same day laundry and 3 hour Express Laundry are at the guests’ disposal.
Business Class rooms are also offered, including free daily newspaper, free coffee and tea from the room service, free in-house movie, buffet breakfast and free access to credit card calls.
