Hungarian Railway’s History Park (Füsti)

The Hungarian Railway’s History Park exhibits more than 100 railway vehicles on about 70 000 sqms, at the former Northern Towing Establishment.

It was opened in 1913, and was the biggest towing establishment of the time. After a period of serious development, the first interactive railway park in Europe was opened in 2000. The renovation of the rest of the railway history park is on going. The philosophy of the park developers is not only to operate the park, as an exhibition but to make it a hands-on experience, encouraging patrons to try out the appliances for themselves. The rich variety of the exhibited materials offers an unforgettable backdrop to all kind of events for max. 1 200 guests.
