Gundel
This renowned restaurant was established as Wampetics in 1894. In 1910 it was taken over by Chef Károly Gundel, of Bavarian origins, who renamed it. During its long history the Gundel has introduced into Hungarian cuisine such specialties as the Pike Style Gundel, and its famous flambéed pancakes with nut filling smothered in chocolate sauce.
This sumptuous cuisine is served in a magnificent historic building. Rooms with capacity: Andrássy: 70, Queen Elisabeth: 180, Andrea: 20, Winter Garden: 30, Crystal: 20, Library: 20, Music: 24, Family: 6 persons and 140 on the terrace.
